About Jardine's Lookout

Jardine’s Lookout is situated at a high vantage point of Midlevel East looking out to the city and the harbor. Historically, this was where the trading firm Jardine Matheson kept watch of the approach its ships coming from India and England.

Jardine’s Lookout is a pure residential low density area and recognized an upper class neighbourhood.  With the exception of a few highrise complexes along Perkins Road and Boyce Road, such as Cavendish Heights, Wing On Towers, and Butler Towers, it is primarily made up of mainly large detached houses, town houses, and lowrise apartments.

Due to the proximity to French International School and Hong Kong Japanese School, the area is one of the preferred choices by French and Japanese expatriates.  Local families also find the area very convenient as a few prestigious local schools are within short driving distance.

Residents may consider joining Jardine’s Lookout Residents Association to enjoy its sports and recreation facilities.  For Jockey Club members, HK Jockey Club House Club House on Shan Kwong Road is within short driving distance.

Close to Tai Hang, directly above Happy Valley, and within easy access to Causeway Bay, shopping for daily necessity can be easily accomplished in Happy Valley. However, Causeway Bay has full range of selections to offer. It is well connected to CBD and other districts through public transportation along Tai Hang Road.
