Once Taikoo Dockyard, Taikoo Shing was developed into a private residential estate by Swire properties. Taikoo Shing was completed in stages, with constructions of all main residential buildings complete by the early 1990s. Besides the residential properties, there are commercial elements which include office towers Cityplaza 3 & 4.
